Environmental Protection Authority decides to not assessment Kemerton Power Station operating hours increase


The State’s environmental review authority has given the green light to a plan to increase the operating hours of a power station on Bunbury’s outskirts seven-fold.

The Environmental Protection Authority revealed last week it would not assess RATCH Australia Corporation’s proposal to increase the Kemerton Power Station’s operating time from 2000 hours a year to 13,800 hours annually.
